Squirrel Screenprinted Wooden Decoration
This sweet squirrel Christmas tree decoration is designed and handmade by the talented folk at Folded Forest in their west Yorkshire studio.
Taking inspiration from the world around them, including their local forests, moorlands and beaches, the founders of Folded Forest create handmade decorations for your home which are made to last for generations to come.
Every design begins as a handmade paper cut-out then layers are added with pen and ink before it's ready to be printed. Large in size, each Christmas tree decoration is cut from FSC certified 3mm birch plywood for sustainability, before being screenprinted by hand on both sides with a rusty red ink.
To finish, it's threaded with a blue coloured waxed cotton to make it ready for hanging on your tree, then packaged in a translucent paper envelope so it can be gifted too.
Measures approximately 14 x 15cm.
As each decoration is hand-printed into natural wood, there may be variations in colour and texture which is part of their handmade charm.
