These sweet little hanging bothies made in a choice of rustic, glazed-roof stoneware or smooth creamy white porcelain are a beautifully hand-sculpted exclusive collaboration between our founder Jen and talented Skye-based maker Catriona Archibald.
Catriona makes homewares and jewellery from her studio in Waternish on the island and uses a groggy, textured stoneware clay or smooth porcelain to create these Christmas tree decorations ready for hanging in your home for the season.
The stoneware bothies come with a slender, rich jewel green or blue velvet ribbon while the porcelain ones have a pinky-purple velvet ribbon. Each one is finished with a gold-leaf painted star sitting atop its roof on a flexible wire.
As every hanging bothy is handmade, no two will look exactly the same which only adds to their unique charm. All are sold individually.
