Wall Sconce – Thistle
An exclusive design for Òr, this wall sconce is part of our exciting collaboration with Pantry Pots and our founder Jen Pearson.
Jen and Pantry Pots owner, Veronika, worked closely together to create this original thistle design, taking inspiration from Skye and its surrounding glens, crofts and Scottish island flora. After sending pages of inspiration, ideas and sketches, both decided that this inky blue flowering thistle would be best suited to Veronika's painterly illustrations.
The rich blue colour was chosen for its classic feel and hint of tradition which fits perfectly with the symbolism of the Scottish thistle. Veronika hand-throws every stoneware sconce in her London studio then expertly paints the design onto each piece by hand.
Both functional and beautiful, this sconce is perfect for displaying as an artwork in itself or for lighting one of our four-inch small stubby beeswax candles.

Measures W13 x D17cm. Dust and wash by hand to preserve longevity.
As every piece is handmade, there will be slight variations in form and style which only adds to their unique charm. All are sold individually.
