Limpet Hoop Earrings
Designed and made by our founder Jen Carter Pearson, these limpet hoop earrings are an addition to the Shore collection where Jen explores connections to the Isle of Skye.
Beautifully delicate and versatile, they can be worn with or without the limpet shell, meaning they can easily transform into a classic everyday hoop.
The shell design is made from a silver casting taken from limpets found on one of Jen's many beach combing trips along the shores of Skye. Limpets are hugely symbolic here in Scotland with their connection to the Highland Clearances during the 1700s; eating limpets played a part in how displaced residents survived during such harsh conditions.
Each pair is made to the highest quality available in silver or 22ct yellow gold plated silver.
