It Will Rain Lino Print
A hand-printed lino artwork by Ludovica Perosin, an artist based in Edinburgh who aims to make her practice as ethical and sustainable as possible by sourcing Fairtrade art supplies.
The print uses traditional oil-based ink and natural Lokta paper expertly crafted in the Himalayan region of Nepal. The paper consists of bark from the Lokta bush, a renewable resource that gives the paper its soft, textured, almost fabric-like finish.
Once the scene is printed using lino, the clouds are then embossed by hand to give a raised pattern to the textured paper.
Measures approximately A4 size (W28 x H40cm).
Each is hand-printed which means there will be subtle differences in colour and design, something which makes every one charmingly unique.
Comes unframed and packaged flat on board then wrapped in biodegradable cellophane.
