Heron Tumbler
A smooth, matte white tumbler decorated with painterly drawings of a heron on the front and a floral design on the back.
Every tumbler is handmade and hand-painted using blue-toned oxide by Ella Bua-In, so every illustration will differ slightly giving it a unique personality. Ella taught herself to make ceramics after painting her way through a BA in Fine Art. She now lives in Cardigan, West Wales with her family, making new creations in her own studio.
Intended to be tactile and imperfect, each piece tells a story and makes reference to a wide range of sources including Ancient Greek and Roman pottery, folk tales and myths.
Inside each tumbler you'll find a rusty terracotta orange glaze to contrast the striking white and blue.
Measures approximately 10cm tall, 6cm at the base and 8.5cm across the top. Holds approximately 250ml. Dishwasher friendly but hand-washing is recommended.
