Hand-thrown on the wheel from speckled, stoneware clay, this forget-me-not dish is ideal for snacks or holding bar soap.
Crafted by Paige Mitchell in her Norwich-based studio, her ideas are developed through gardening, sketchbook drawing, and both wheel thrown and hand-built ceramics. Her designs come to life in the top floor of her independent lifestyle store called Elm which she founded 2017.
This stoneware dish is first thrown on the wheel then is bisque fired before being left to dry then stamped with Paige's signature on the bottom and finished with a glossy transparent glaze before being decorated with floral forget-me-nots ready for its final firing.
As each pot is handmade it means no two are exactly alike; a uniqueness which only adds to their charm.
Measures approximately 14cm diameter.
