Drift Silk Scarf
These handmade scarves are created by Ellen Martin, an Edinburgh-based designer who brings her sketches and collages to life in hand-printed silk.
Ellen specialises in dyed, printed textiles, with a focus on hand drawn designs inspired by her surroundings and Japanese techniques. The Drift design takes its look from a collaged print Ellen drew of the serrated wrack seaweed and fronded fans found on the shore along the pictureque Scottish coast of the Isle of Mull.
These 100% silk scarves are made in small batches with original designs created by Ellen that are then digitally printed and sewn locally in Scotland.
Small measures approximately L48 x W48cm, and large L82 x W82cm. Hand-wash only.
