Candle Holder in Edinburgh Clay

Set a relaxing mood in your home with this handmade candle holder. Though its unique pattern showcases a modern design, the gently curved edges of the holder give it a more traditional look. 

Each is made from a creamy white stoneware and hand-finished with a bold brushstroke of Edinburgh clay. The decorative clay slip is a unique formula harvested and made in Scotland by ceramicist Julija Pustovrh of Emporium Julium.

Julija even made the brushes for decorating the candle holder using grasses collected on her wanders around Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh, instilling this piece with a sense of place. 

Due to the handmade process each candle holder is completely unique, with different size and shape brushstrokes; a finish which only adds to their charm. 

Measures 12cm diameter and has a 2.5cm slot for holding your candle. Sold individually. Candles not included.
