Candle Holder – Gorse
An exclusive design for Òr, this candle holder is part of our exciting collaboration with Pantry Pots and our founder Jen Pearson.
We worked closely with the owner of Pantry Pots, Veronika, to create this original gorse design, taking inspiration from Skye and its surrounding glens, crofts and Scottish island flora. After sending pages of inspiration, ideas and sketches, both decided that this mustard yellow flowering gorse would be best suited to Veronika's painterly illustrations.
A warm mustard yellow was chosen for the design, reminiscent of spring and summer days but equally the transition into autumn with its association with harvest-time, or Lùnastal, as we call it in Gaelic.
Veronika hand-throws every stoneware holder in her London studio then expertly paints the design onto each piece by hand.

Measures around 9cm diameter, while the hole diameter measures approximately 2.5cm. Dust and clean by hand to preserve longevity.
As every piece is handmade, there will be slight variations in form and style which only adds to their unique charm. All are sold individually.
Please note the holder doesn't come with the candle, but our nine-inch tall beeswax candles can be pared down to fit perfectly.
