A smooth matte white tumbler, hand painted with playful drawings of items found on the shore. Handmade by Ella Bua-In.
Each illustration is hand-drawn in oxide so your tumbler will differ to the one shown.
Ella Bua-In's work is intended to be tactile and imperfect, pieces which have been made to be handled and loved. Storytelling is central to Ella's practice; she uses ceramic oxides to illustrate her pots, making reference to a wide range of sources including Ancient Greek and Roman pottery, folk tales and myths, as well as traditional brushwork techniques and botanical studies.
Ella taught herself to pot after painting her way through a BA in Fine Art. She now lives in Cardigan, West Wales with her family.
These tumblers are a rusty orange on the inside and stand at approximately 10cm tall, 6cm at the base and 8.5cm across the top. Holds approximately 250ml. Dishwasher friendly but hand-washing will ensure best care.
